Shattwik Nattyo Somproday to stage ‘Churut’ today

Theatre troupe Shattwik Nattyo Somproday will be staging their production ‘Churut’ at Jalladkhana Badhyabhumi premises in Mirpur today. This staging will be a part of the three-day victory day celebration programme organised by Liberation War Museum.

The play has been written and directed by Sagir Mustafa.

‘Churut’ is the 26th production of Shattwik Nattyo Somproday.

Shattwik Nattyo Somproday is a Mirpur based theatre group operating from 1994 and this group is the member of Bangladesh Group Theatre Federation since 1997.

Besides Theatrical activities, Shattwik always actively take part different voluntary services at any national crisis. The group organised Open Air Drama Festival to collect money for the flood affected people in recent years.
