Shironamhin to perform today at ‘Bijoy Ullash’ concert

Popular Bangladeshi band Shironamhin will perform at a concert titled ‘Bijoy Ullash’ at Polwel Convention Hall at Uttara in Dhaka today.

Bangladeshi bands Aftermath, Warsite, Encore, AK Rahul, Velvet Wing, Oindrajalik, ATA, SHREDS, Philosophers, Beat Philes, Amra Bhinno, Error 404, and Chronic are also set to share the stage with Shironamhin.

The tickets for the concert are available for 250 each.

Taan Raat Group organised the concert. The gates will be open from 1:00pm. The concert is scheduled to start at 2:00 pm on the fifth level of the Polwel Convention Centre.

Shironamhin was founded by BUET students Ziaur Rahman (guitar), Jewel (guitar) and Bulbul Hasan (vocals). Vocalist Tanzir Tuhin joined in 2002 as a fourth member of the band. Zia became the primary lyricist and thematic leader, devising the concepts behind the albums ‘Jahaji’ (2004), ‘Icche Ghuri’ (2006), ‘Bondho Janala’ (2009) and ‘Shironamhin Rabindranath’ (2010).
