Mim, Jeet to share screen with ‘Manush’

After the blockbuster commercial success of ‘Poran,’ Bangladeshi model and actress Bidya Sinha Saha Mim needs no introduction. This time the ‘Poran’ famed actress will pair up with Tollywood actor Jeet in a film titled ‘Manush.’

Directed by Sanjai Samaddar, Mim will play a role of a police officer whose name is ‘Mandira’ in the film.

Mim confirmed the news through her verified Facebook by posting a photo with actor Jeet. The caption of the photo read, “Once again with my favourite person Jeet, in “Manush”. Sanjoy Somadder dada it will be a blast.”

Mim told the media “Producer Gopal Madnani called me and described the story of the film. Hearing the story, I agreed to act in the film.”

At present Mim is staying in Kolkata for the shooting of the first lot. Then the shooting of the second lot will be started next year. The duo earlier acted in another Tollywood film titled ‘Sultan: The Saviour’ directed by Raja Chanda.

Model and actress Mim started her career by winning the crown of Lux Channel i Superstar in 2007. After her beauty pageant win, she made her film debut as the lead cast of Humayun Ahmed’s feature film ‘Amar Ache Jol’ in 2008. That role kick-started her career as an actor and she starred in several hit TV dramas in the same year.

The very next year she played the role of Priyanka alongside Shakib Khan in her second film ‘Amar Praner Priya’ directed by Zakir Hossain Raju. It also became a big hit and Mim kept regularly worked in TV dramas and films till today. She also kept working with major brands too.

Mim took a break from acting from 2012 to 2013 and returned to the silver screen with Khalid Mahmud Mithu’s ‘Jonakir Alo’ which got her the first National Film Award.

After that, she had the opportunity to work on several Indian films and acted opposite stars like Soham Chakraborty, Prasenjit Chatterjee, and Jeet.
