‘Pett Kata Shaw’ to see its int’l premiere

Nuhash Humayun’s anthology horror series ‘Pett Kata Shaw’ is all set to see its international premiere. The film has been officially selected for the International Film Festival of Rotterdam and will have its premiere here. The festival will start on January 25 and will continue till February 5 in Netherlands.

Nuhash Humayun announced the news himself. Expressing excitement, Nuhash said, “It is a pleasure to announce that ‘Pett Kata Shaw’ will have its international premiere at such a prestigious International Rotterdam Film Festival. Our stories based on Bengali horror folk tales have already touched the hearts of countless South Asian audiences. The festival is an incredible opportunity to showcase it internationally.”

“Presenting ‘Pett Kata Shaw’ at such a prestigious film festival in Europe is undoubtedly a historic moment for Bangladeshi OTT content as well. I would like to congratulate the whole team associated with this project,” he added.

‘Pett Kata Shaw’ is a four-episode horror series based on popular folk ghost stories and myths of Bangladesh. The anthology series cast Sohel Mondol, Shirin Akter Shila, Afzal Hossain, Chanchal Chowdhury in the lead roles.
