Batighar to stage ‘Urnajal’ today

Theatre troupe Batighar will be staging their third production, ‘Urnajal’ today at the Nilima Ibrahim Auditorium of Bangladesh Mohila Samiti. The 31th staging of the play will start at 7:00pm.

The play has been written and directed by Bakar Bokul.

The play portrays the clash between religious bigotry and traditional values and shows how religion can be subjected to misinterpretation and be used to the benefit of extremist outfits by people with dishonest intentions.
