Zayed Khan vs Nipun
On January 28, Zayed Khan won the Bangladesh Chalachhitra Shilpi Samity elections as the new general secretary. However, his rival candidate actor Nipun voiced several allegations of election irregularities and accused him of “buying votes” on the day of the polls. Nipun also held a press conference and lodged a written complaint with the Bangladesh Chalachhitra Shilpi Samity’s Election Appeal Board.
The Ministry of Social Welfare then gave the board the responsibility to address the issue. Appeal Board Chairman Sohanur Rahman Sohan declared Nipun as the new general secretary and removed Zayed Khan from the post. The HC cleared the way for Zayed to serve as the general secretary of the BFFA after striking down the decision of the Election Appeal Board of the association.
Nipun again took the fight to court and filed an appeal before the Appellate Division. On March 14, the Appellate Division of the Supreme Court asked film actor Zayed Khan and actress Nipun Akter to follow the order of Chamber Judge of the Appellate Division strictly over holding the post of general secretary of the Bangladesh Film Artistes’ Association (BFAA). After the battle of 9 month, actress Nipun akter wins. The Appellate Division of the Supreme Court on November 21 cleared the way for actress Nipun Akter to serve as the general secretary of the Bangladesh Film Artistes’ Association. After this ruling of the highest court of the country, the conflict between Nipun and Zayed Khan over the post of general secretary was ended.
Din the Day: Ananta Jalil vs Morteza Atashzamzam
Morteza Atashzamzam, a renowned Iranian filmmaker and director of ‘Din: The Day’ claimed that, Ananta Jalil, broke their agreement and contract. Morteza wrote in an Instagram post: “Ananta Jalil broke our agreement and contract.He did not fulfill his responsibilities and promises as we agreed.” On August 18, Bangladeshi actor-producer-businessman Ananta Jalil shrugged off the complaints made by Morteza Atashzamzam about their film ‘Din: The Day’.
Morteza Atashzamzam on August 23 revealed the actual budget of the movie, as opposed to Ananta Jalil’s previously mentioned budget of more than Tk 100 crore - and the actual amount is not even close to the aforementioned budget. Morteza now come forward with a post on his Instagram account to “reveal” the budget of ‘Din - The Day,’ which is USD $500,000.
Shakib Khan- Bulby
On September 27, actress Shobnom Bubly posted pictures of her ‘baby bump’ and took social media by storm. The actress posted a couple of pictures with the caption, “Me with my life. Throwback to America”. This created curiosity amongst netizens. However, the entire story has been shrouded in mystery. Earlier in 2019, there were speculations surrounding Bubly’s alleged ‘relationship’ with Shakib Khan. Later on September 30, Dhallywood superstars Shakib Khan and Shabnom Bubly finally put an end to all rumours about their child after posting pictures with their son, Shehzad Khan Bir, on their verified Facebook pages.
Omar Sani-Moushumi-Zayed Khan
Real life cine-couple, Moushumi and Omar Sani found their relationship in danger, when the latter claimed that Zayed Khan had threatened Omar sani at gunpoint, after Sani had slapped him during the wedding reception of Dipjol’s son. Sani also claimed that Zayed had harassed Moushumi, while Moushumi has denied the claims. Later, it came to an end with a video-message from Moushumi.
Bubly-Shakib-Apu Biswas
Dhallywood stars Shakib Khan, Bubly and Apu Biswas once again become the talk of the town for quite some time. Shobnom Bubly celebrated her birthday on November 20. On that occasion, the actress claimed to various media that Shakib Khan gifted her a diamond nose pin as a birthday present. She even claimed that she received her first birthday wish from Shakib Khan.
However, according to recent media reports the actor denied all the claims Bubly made and said that he did not give any nose pin to Bubly.
Shakib said, “Nobody gets in a relationship to get divorced. Apu and Bubly are both mothers of my children, and for that, we will have a minimum relationship. However, I can assure you that both of them are in my past; there is no chance of us getting back together again.”
Apu, Shakib Khan’s ex-wife and mother of his son Abraham Khan Joy, shared Bubly’s post regarding Shakib khan buying her a diamond nose ring, and adorning it with ‘laugh emoticons’. Bubly also retaliated with a counter post on her Facebook profile.
After Shakib’s statement, Bubly seems to be frustrated and Shabnam Bubli talked about these issues in a long video message on December 4.
Pori Moni-Razz-Mim
The on-screen romantic chemistry between Bidya Sinha Mim and Sariful Razz in the film ‘Poran’ and ‘Damal’ created conflict in the conjugal life of Razz and Pori Moni. The silent war began when Pori Moni accused Bidya Sinha Mim of ‘mingling’ with her husband Razz. Pori took her Facebook and wrote, “Can’t you be satisfied with your own husband?” Later, Mim decided to stop making films with Razz going forward.
