The trailer of the much-awaited ‘Black War: Mission Extreme 2’ directed by Sunny Sanwar and Faisal Ahmed was released at an event that took place at Banani Club on Sunday.
The event was attended by Bangladesh Film Directors’ Association President Kazi Hayat, General Secretary Shahin Sumon, actor Arifin Shuvoo and Sadia Nabila among others.
At the event lead actor Arifin Shuvoo described the real scenario of Bangladeshi films industries and requested everyone not to compare Bangladeshi films with others like Pushpa or KGF.
“In our country when one person does well, we automatically begin criticising others. I can’t understand why we did it! We have a rich history where legendary actors like Raj Razzak, Sohel Rana, Ujjal, Farooque, Alamgir and Ilias Kanchan, Jashim created wonders for our film industry. We don’t have enough single screens to screen our films, we have multiplex but the numbers are few. I think we actors should not involve in mud-slinging one another; we should work hard to take Bangladeshi films to the next level”, said Arifin Shuvoo.
“I Requested to everyone please don’t compare our films with super-hit movies like ‘KGF’ or ‘Pushpa’, because we shoot an action scene with a small camera crane, but in our neighbouring countries, they use cranes as big as three-four story buildings to shoot such scenes. We have a lot of limitations. So enjoy our films and consider them as our property”, he added.
The actor also said, “We should try to do everything possible to ensure that our industry gains more profit and that it doesn’t get affected by losses. The audience should support Bangladeshi films by coming to theatres. Our Bangladeshi producers, directors, and cameramen have the potential to create wonderful films and we should support them to do so.”
Produced by Cop Creation, the film casts popular actors Arifin Shuvoo, Taskin Rahman, Jannatul Ferdous Oishee, Sadia Nabila, Sumit Sengupta, Raisul Islam Asad, Fazlur Rahman Babu, Shatabdi Wadud, Maznun Mizan, Shudwip Biswas, Rashed Mamun Apu, Iresh Zaker and others.
Regarding the “Black War’ Sunny Sanwar said, “The story of the ‘Black War: Mission Extreme 2’ starts from where the story of ‘Mission Extreme’ ends. In ‘Mission Extreme 2’ audience will get the solution of ‘Mission Extreme’. “
After unveiling the trailer, the makers announced that ‘Black War’ will be released on January 13 in theatres.
