Spardha to stage ‘4.48 Montrash’ today

Theatre troupe ‘Spardha’ will stage its acclaimed theatrical production ‘4.48 Montrash’ on Thursday at the Nilima Ibrahim Auditorium of Bangladesh Mahila Samity. Following that, a total of eleven shows of the play will be staged at the same location until January 13.

The play will start at 7:00 pm on Thursday. On Friday and Saturday, there will be two staging of the production, which will take place at 4:00 pm and 7:00 pm respectively. Although from January 9 to January 12, there will be only one show at 7:00 pm. Finally, on January 13, the first staging will start at 4:00 pm and the final staging will be at 7:30 pm.

The play is a translation of Sarah Kane’s ‘4.48 Psychosis’, and has been designed and directed by Syed Jamil Ahmed. The Bengali translation has been done by Shahman Moishan and Sharif Siraj. The regular entry fee has been fixed at Tk 500 or Tk 1000.
