‘Pathan’ trailer out now

The trailer for the much-anticipated movie ‘Pathan’ is out on Monday. The film will be released on January 25.

The trailer starts with a voiceover by Dimple Kapadia explaining a private terror group’s mission against India, led by John Abraham. To fight him, there is Pathaan, who has to end his exile.

SRK enters as Pathan on the screen with some heavy-duty dialogues like, “Party pathaan ke ghar rakhoge toh mehmaannawazi ke liye Pathaan toh aayega, aur pathaake bhi layega”.  After that the trailer continues with some generic moments featuring John and Deepika. Although, Salman Khan is conspicuous by his absence and it seems his cameo will be kept under wraps by YRF.

Sharing the trailer on his verified Twitter account Shah Rukh tweeted, “Right vs Wrong, Good vs Evil - they are two sides of the same coin. Experience the epic clash of two brutal forces in PathaanTrailer now!”

Earlier, the makers released the teaser of the film on the occasion of 57th birthday of Shah Rukh Khan.

However, when the film’s first song “Besharam Rang” dropped on December 12, it opened a can of worms for the makers of the film. The song was criticised for its unappealing choreography by the audience and later it got mired in controversy for the colour of Deepika’s costumes. It has reached a level where protests were held in some parts of the country against the film’s release.
