‘Black War’ releasing today in 44 halls

Arifin Shuvoo’s much-awaited film ‘Black War’ releases today. The film will be released in 44 cinema halls across the country.

‘Black War: Mission Extreme 2’ directed by Sunny Sanwar and Faisal Ahmed is a film that was inspired by some of the most astounding operations of the Counter-Terrorism and Transnational Crime unit (CTTC), a specialised branch of the Bangladesh Police, that aims to combat terrorism.

This film is also co-directed by Faisal Ahmed and casts Taskeen Rahman, Jannatul Ferdous Oishee, Fazlur Rahman Babu, Shahiduzzaman Selim, Shatabdi Wadud, Iresh Zaker, Manoj Kumar Pramanik and others.

With the film, Madhumita cinema hall, one of the oldest cinema halls in Dhaka, will be reopening again after a two-month pause due to the football World Cup.

Apart from Madhumita, the other cinema halls are, Shyamoli Cinema, Blockbuster Cinemas at Jamuna Future Park, Chitra Mahal Cinema, Geet Sangeet Cinema, Ananda Cinema, BGB Auditorium, New Metro Cinema, Sena Auditorium Cantonment in Dhaka, Sena Auditorium in Savar Cantonment, CineScope Cineplex in Narayanganj, Lion Cinemas in Keraniganj, Jhumur Cinema in Joydebpur, Chand Mahal Cinema in Kanchpur, Nabin Cinema in Manikganj, Chondrima Cinema in Sreepur, Roots Cineclub in Sirajganj, Modhuban Cineplex in Bogura, The Rupkotha Cinema in Pabna, Modern Cinema in Dinajpur, Tamanna Cinema in Saidpur, Nandita Cinema in Sylhet, Shapla Cinema in Rangpur, Sugandha Cinema and Silver Screen in Chattogram, Chayabani Cinema in Mymensingh, Chitrali Cinema and Shongkho Cinema in Khulna, Sottoboti Cinema in Sherpur, Purbasha Cinema in Santahar, Raz Cinema in Kuliarchar, Mohon Cinema in Habiganj, Momo Inn in Bogura, Oviruchi Cinema in Barisal, Monihar Cinema in Jessore, Grand Sylhet in Sylhet and Rupali Cinema in Comilla.

Besides, the film will also be release in all Star Cineplexes in Dhaka, Chattogram and Rajshahi.

The film is produced under the production house Cop Creation. The story and screenplay were written by Superintendent of Police Sunny Sanwar. The film is presented by Kool in association with Mime Multimedia and Dhaka Detective Club.
