Mim starts shooting in Kolkata

Popular actress Bidya Sinha Saha Mim started shooting for the new film ‘Manush’ in Kolkata. The film will have popular Tollywood actor Jeet opposite Mim. Directed by Sanjay Samaddar, Mim will play a role of a police officer whose name is ‘Mandira’ in the film.

The shooting that started on Monday might continue until January 23. However, there is a chance that Mim might have to visit Kolkata even in February for the shooting of this film.

“I’ve worked with Jeet before. It was in the film Sultan. I’m working with him again after a couple of years. This film, ‘Manush’ has a very interesting story, and I’m enjoying shooting it. The whole team is so friendly too,” said Mim.

The actress is being accompanied by her mother in Kolkata. “It is because my mother is with me I can work with the focus to the fullest. I’m grateful to her. From the very beginning, she was my guide, and because of that, I’m who I’m today. I request that everyone keep me and my family in their prayers so that we can be healthy and happy in life,” she added.

Mim was in Dubai at the time of the New Year. She returned to Dhaka on January 8. Mim’s upcoming project in the country is Dipankar Dipon cyber-thriller ‘Antarjal’ with co-star Siam Ahmed. She will play the role of a cyber-security officer of Bangladesh Government’s e-Government Computer Incident Response Team (BGD e-GOV CIRT). The film is scheduled to hit local theatres next year.
