National award-winning singer ‘Dilshad Nahar Kona’ is going to remake her song ‘Akashe Sobai Chay Urtay’. Previously, the song was used in a drama serial ‘Aim in Life’. Written by Masud Sezan, the song is composed by Palash Noor and the music arrangement was done by Amjad Hossain. The song will be released on the YouTube channel ‘KONA’ tomorrow.
Regarding her song, Kona said, “I sang the track ‘Akashe Sobai Chay Urtay’ for the drama serial ‘Aim in Life’ about 16 years ago. I listen to the song every now and then. The song had many positive reviews in the comment section on YouTube. A few days back, I sang the acoustic version of the song and it was well”.
“I made the music video with Saikat Reza. Overall it seems the song is better now. The song will be released on my YouTube channel tomorrow. I hope the new version of the song will be enjoyed by all,” she added.
Kona performed at a show in Cox’s Bazar yesterday. And if everything goes according to plan, the singer will perform at Radisson Blu Dhaka today.
In 2020, Dilshad Nahar Kona won Bangladesh National Film Award for Best Female Playback Singer for her song ‘Tui Ki Amar Hobi Re’ for the film ‘Bishwoshundori’. Kona was a student of Moghbazar Girls High School and Lalmatia College, Dhaka. She studied Nazrul Geeti at Nazrul Academy.
