‘Paap Punno’ to be screened at DIFF today

Giasuddin Selim’s ‘Paap Punno’ will be screened today at Bangladesh National Museum, as a part of the ongoing Dhaka International Film Festival (DIFF) in Bangladesh Panorama section.

Through this film, Afsana Mimi came back to acting in cinemas after ‘Priyotomeshu’ directed by Humayun Ahmed, which was released on 2009. The film stars Chanchal Chowdhury, Afsana Mimi, Siam Ahmed, Farzana Chumki, Mamunur Rashid, Gausul Alam Shaon, Fazlur Rahman Babu, and Shahnaz Sumi in vital roles. The film is produced by Impress Telefilm.

Besides, Indian film ‘Gargi’ directed by Gautham Ramachandran, Chinese film ‘The Coffin Painter’ by Da Fei, Srilankan Film ‘Maariya: The Ocean Angel’ by Aruna Jayawardana and Iranian film ‘Zendegi Va Zendegi’ (Life & Life) by Ali Ghavitan will be screened at the same venue today.
