Apurba to star in web series based on Salman Shah’s death

Popular actor Ziaul Faruq Apurba is going to act in a web series titled, ‘Buker Modhe Agun’ based on the mysteriously death of superstar Salman Shah, an icon who carved his throne in the hearts of the Bangladeshi audience.

Directed by Taneem Rahman Angshu, the series will reflect the life of superstar Salman Shah and will shed light on the mystery of Salman Shah’s death.

Hoichoi Bangladesh announced the series at the ‘Hoichoi Meet’ event held on January 18.

Although there was no mention of Salman Shah, however, the event makes it clear, and the web series is also named after Salman Shah’s last movie.

Apurba will be playing the role of an intelligence officer named SP Ghulam Mamun. Apart from Apurba the series also casts Tariq Anam Khan, Gazi Rakayet, Tania Ahmed, Tauquir Ahmed, Yash Rohan, Toma Mirza, Shahnaz Sumi, Tanveer, and others in various roles. The shooting of this series has been completed and the post-production is underway at the moment.

The series produced by Alpha-Eye will be released in February on the OTT platform Hoichoi.

Debuting in 1993 with the film ‘Keyamat Theke Keyamat’ Salman Shah worked in a total of 27 films in only four years. On September 6, 1996, Salman Shah passed away, leaving many adoring fans in tears.
