Prominent senior actress Dilara Zaman is going to act in a new telefilm titled ‘Ma Babar Poriniti’ directed by Habib Litu. The shooting of the telefilm is taking place in Manikganj.

Ekushey Padak, and National Award-winning actress, will play the role of a mother in this telefilm.

Regarding the drama, Dilara Zaman said, “Going outside of Dhaka for the shooting has become a hectic experience for me at this age. Yet I’m shooting for Litu. He convinced me for the project as he said that the character has been developed for me only so he wants me. The interest he showed in my work somehow made me interested and excited.”

“To be honest, life is hard. It’s like a war. One has to fight to live. I’m still acting at this age; it’s something I do to meet the demands of life. But I can’t deny that despite all odds, I have a deep love for acting. If I’m not a regular on the shooting floor, I won’t be meeting my favourite co-artistes. I love to meet them, work with them,” she added.

Dilara Zaman’s last project, the government-granted short film ‘Omar Faruk-er Ma’ premiered at the Bangladesh Film Archive on December 3, 2022. Along with Dilara Zaman, the short film also casts, Khairul Alam Sabuj, Naznin Chumki, Shahed Sharif Khan, Kazi Razu, Sayeed Babu, and others.
