Nearly two years after ending his marriage to Pamela Anderson, producer Jon Peters has revealed that he left her a fortune and confessed that he “will always love” the actress.
The Hollywood producer made headlines on Saturday when he revealed that he left $10 million in his will for his ex-wife saying, “I will always love Pamela, always in my heart.”
In a statement to Variety, Jon said that the actress was unaware of the money he has left for her “whether she needs it or not.”
The pair tied the knot in 2020 and ended their union after 12 days.
At the time, Pamela revealed that the producer ended their marriage through a text message. The couple reportedly only spent five days together before Jon sent her the break-up message.
According to reports, the executive producer of ‘Man of Steel’ began his text by saying that their “beautiful amazing love fest”.
He followed it up with a confession, “This whole marriage thing has scared me. It made me realize that at 74 I need a simple quiet life and not an international love affair.”
He added in the text, “Therefore, I think the best thing we can do is that I’m going to go away for a couple of days and maybe you need to go back up to Canada we did it. The world knows we did it and I think now we need to go our own separate ways.”
Sharing his hope that the actress can forgive him, he signed off his message with a statement that read, “I love you, Jon. I want to be in your life forever.”
Reports claimed that the actress replied by simply stating that she forgive him.
