Pathaan beats KGF 2 and Baahubali 2

According to ‘Times of India’, after the release of ‘Pathaan’ on January 25 in Hindi, Tamil and Telugu, the Hindi version of the film earned a record breaking Rs 160 crore nett over its first three days, reports Box Office India.

Pathaan has thus become the only Shah Rukh Khan film in the list of top ten weekend grossers.

The top ten opening weekends for Hindi language films are as follows:

Pathaan (Hindi) - 1,60,50,00,000

KGF 2 (Hindi) - 1,40,45,00,000

Baahubali - The Conclusion (Hindi) - 1,27,28,00,000

Shah Rukh Khan, Deepika Padukone, John Abraham starrer Pathaan is on a record-breaking spree. After a small dip in collections on Friday, Siddharth Anand’s film bounced back and posted yet another round of impressive collections on Saturday.

Pathaan collected over Rs 50 crore nett on its Day 4 and the box office numbers have been unprecedented, reports Box Office India.

The total collection of the film now stands at Rs 211 crore nett in Hindi and around Rs 7 crore nett from dubbed versions. The film is off to an impressive start on Day 5 with single screens across the country running housefull for noon shows.

Adding to its streak, the film has crossed the $20 million mark in just four days overseas and continues to create havoc across all markets.
