Afran Nisho: I am taking preparation for acting in films

Afran Nisho is a popular Bangladeshi model and actor who has appeared in over 300 telefilms and TV series. He is already set to star in a full-length feature film titled “Shurongo,” which will be directed by Raihan Rafi. Tama Mirza will star opposite Nisho.

Now, the actor has signed up for another film titled “Kalpurush.” The script is still in process and renowned director Sanjoy Somadder will direct it.

Nisho said, “At the moment, I am preparing for acting in these films. I have lost 13 kg weight in the last six months. I will have to lose a little more weight and be fully fit before I stand in front of the camera.”

“I have worked with Sanjoy Dada before. Now I am going to act in a film under his direction. He is now working on a film in Kolkata.

“In the meantime, I will shoot the second part of Shurongo and second season of ‘Kaiser.’ After that, the shooting of Kalpurush will begin. Hopefully, Kalpurush will be a great project,” he added. Previously, Nisho has done various web films, TV series and dramas on OTT platforms like HoiChoi, Chorki and Zee5 originals.

“Syndicate,” “Redrum,” “Morichika,” “Punorjonmo,” “Kaiser,” “Shuklopokkho” and “Mainkar Chipay” are some of his hit works. Many of his dramas are also available on YouTube.

Nisho began his career as a model in a television commercial in 2003. He won the critics’ choice ‘Best Actor (TV)’ at the 2016 Meril Prothom Alo Awards for his role in the TV drama “Jog Biyog.”
