Singer Tamanna Prome lends her voice to a playback song for the first time for movie directed by Raju Alim and Masuma Tani. The song is written by Raju Alim and tuned by Al-Amin Ibn Kabir, also known as Mac Apple.
Regarding the song, Prome said, “Singing as a playback singer for the first time was an amazing experience for me. Every singer aspires to make good music and perform on stage, and many hope to work as a playback singer too”.
“This was a dream of mine, and with this project, my dream has come true. I believe one can learn a lot while recording as a playback singer especially, the throwing and where to put emotions. I learned a lot while recording the song.” she added.
The song is a duet song for the film which has primary title ‘Bhalobashar Projapoti’. The film casts Sadika Parvin Popy and Shipan Mitra as the leads.
Apart from the playback, Prome lent her voice to four new songs and two cover songs recently. The songs were composed, tuned, and rearranged by Shaan and Rizwan Sheikh.
Prome celebrated the New Year abroad. She returned on January 12, and after that, she performed at a stage show at Cox’s Bazar. Recently, she also performed in Dhaka, Gazipur, Sylhet, Bikrampur, and Khulna. Prome will do a show in Manikganj on February 4.
The singer released her debut solo album Prapty in 2015 featuring seven songs. It was released under the banner of Sangeeta Music.
She recorded the song with Bollywood singer Papon. Popular actor Nirab Hossain acted with Tamanna Prome in the music video of the song, which was released on the YouTube channel named Dhruba Music Station.
Tamanna Prome got her first singing lessons from her mother. She later learnt classical music at Chhayanaut. The singer completed an eight-year course on Nazrul Sangeet. Prome also begged a top prize in the reality show Marks All-rounder in 2009.
