Aranyak to stage ‘Kohe Facebook’ at BSA

Theatre troupe Aranyak Natyadal will stage its 64th production ‘Kohe Facebook’ at the National Theatre Hall of Bangladesh Shilpakala Academy (BSA) today. The staging is a part of the golden jubilee celebration of the troupe.

Playwright Mamunur Rashid scripted and directed the drama.

The play ‘Kohe Facebook’ revolves around the era of technology where the internet has taken over everywhere from people’s homes to offices. The play tells the story of how the internet has given people speed but taken away emotions.

Facebook is a popular social medium in this vast sea of high speed internet communication.

Behind this visible world, Facebook has created an invisible world known as the Virtual World. Its scope and impact is so intense that its effects have turned human beings into biological robots by eradicating emotions, feelings and love from human life, family and society as a whole.
