Sathi decides to leave media

Popular television anchor Dilruba Sathi, who is popularly known for Channel i show ‘Taroka Kothon’ and ‘Gaan Diye Shuru’ has decided to part ways with ‘Channel i’. Sathi has been employed as a television show anchor at ‘Channel i’ for 13 years.

Regarding the decision, Dilruba Sathi said, “I have spent 13 glorious years of my life at Channel i. Although this was my fourth job, there were some situations in which I have given my best, and have received more in return than I have given to them.”

“I’ve always been adored, loved, and appreciated by my co-workers here at the channel. Shykh Seraj sir and Faridur Reza Sagar sir along with others have always supported me throughout these wonderful years. All of my co-workers at the channel are like family to me and it’s hard to let go of our fond memories”, she added. Dilruba Sathi entered the media as a child artist in several teledramas. Besides anchoring, she also worked as a model. Around the age of three Dilruba Sathi started to take lessons for dancing at Bangladesh Shilpakala Academy.
