The amount of love I get from viewers is unbelievable

Popular actress Mehazabien Chowdhury has received an immensely positive response for portraying the role of Ruby in Vicky Zahed’s latest thriller web-series titled ‘The Silence’, on the OTT platform Binge. The six-episode psychological thriller started streaming in the first week of February. Shamol Mawla is the male lead alongside Azizul Hakim and Bijori Barkatullah are also portraying individual vital roles in the series.

Regarding the series, Mehazabien said, “After the release of ‘The Silence’, the amount of love and appreciation I received from my viewers is truly unbelievable. In this series, all my co-stars in the series like Shamol Mawla, Bijori Barkatullah, Azizul Hakim, and others acted brilliantly. I am currently focusing on good-written and well-laid-out roles, stories, and scripts rather than doing something that I don’t like or find interesting. I get inspiration whenever the viewers appreciate me for my work and that motivates me more to work hard on my upcoming projects”.

The story of the series revolves around two couples and their greed, one of the seven deadly sins influences and regulates their emotions. Since the beginning of time, humans have had the tendency to become attracted to forbidden things. The story of modern-day Adam, Eve, and the serpent has been reflected in ‘The Silence’.

On the upcoming Valentine’s Day, none of Mehazabien’s dramas or series will be released. But she is working with Vicky Zahed on the sequel of a drama.

Mehazabien Chowdhury began her career as a model. After winning the Lux Channel i Superstar contest, she signed up to appear in Salauddin Lavlu’s ‘Waris’. Later, the film was canceled. Her first television debut is ‘Tumi Thako Shindhu Parey’. She played a role as the heroine in the romantic-comedy telefilm ‘Ekai 100’ and the romantic tragedy ‘Boro Chele’ through which she rose to national prominence for her acting. She has acted in numerous TV dramas and came to the limelight after acting in a TV commercial for mobile phone operator Banglalink.
