Salman Shah and Shabnoor are famous pair in the Dhallywood film industry. In the short span of his career, Salman Shah has given several popular films with Shabnoor. The film ‘Tumi Amar’ is one of them. It was released on Eid-ul-Azha in 1994. Along with the film, each of its songs is very popular among the audience. Directed by the late Zahirul Haque, its story and dialogues were written by his son Abdullah Zahir Babu.
‘Tumi Amar’ is being released again after 29 years. Abdullah Zahir Babu said that it will be released on February 10 at Abhiruchi Cinema Hall in Barisal.
Abdullah Zahir Babu said, “The film ‘Tumi Amar’ directed by my father late Zahirul Haque, and story and dialogues written by me is the first film of us, is going to be released on February 10 in Barisal Abhiruchi cinema hall. The film was first released in 1994. After my father’s demise, later Tamiz Uddin Rizvi uncle took over the remaining management. Later, the first film starring Salman and Shabnoor ‘Tumi Amar’ was released under the banner of Adrita Kathachitra. This is probably the most memorable and significant film of my life.”
Besides, Shalman Shah, Sabnoor, the film also casts KS Firoz, Prabir Mitra, Zahirul Haq, Syed Hasan Imam, Don, Mahmudul Islam Mithu, Boby, Sojeeb, Rasheda Chowdhury, and others.
