Celebrities releasing books at Ekushey Book Fair

Books by celebrities remained a regular phenomenon at the previous book fairs. And this year’s fair has not been any different. Alongside professional writers, celebrities from the entertainment arena are also drawing attention at the Amar Ekushey Book Fair. Several celebrities are now busy publishing and promoting their new books.

Like always, Ekushey Padak-winning actor, Abul Hayat is publishing his new books at the fair. Once again he will publish a storybook, titled ‘Ronjit Godhuli’. The book will be published by Priyo Bangla Production House.

Director Animesh Aich will also be publishing a novel this year, titled ‘Ek Botol Ondhokar’ under the Kingbodonti publication house. 

Sajia Sultana Putul is spending a lot of time at the book fair. Her books have been published at the book fair regularly since 2016. This year, she published her book, ‘Prem Tantrik Prithibir Swapna Theke Bicchuto Howar Age’.

Director Shafiqur Rahman Shantanu published his book ‹Koyek Jon Eka’ this year from Shobha Prokash. Like last year, he is spending a great deal of time this year at the fair.

The popular actor of two Bengali films, Ferdous Ahmed, published his first book this year. He published his debut novel, ‘Ai Kahini Satya Noy’, at the Ekushey Book Fair.

Popular actor Faruque Ahamed brings a book to the fair a book titled ‘Smritite Humayun Ahmed’ based on all his memories with the late writer Humayun Ahmed.

Tauquir Ahmed has been publishing his poetry and drama books for a few years. This year, he will be releasing a book on theatre plays, at the book fair.

Popular television host Hanif Sanket published his two latest books at the Ekushey Book Fair. The books are ‘Abeg Jokhon Bibeghin’ and ‘Hanif Sanket Rachana Samagra-1’ published by Anannya Prokashoni.
