Popular television actress Deepa Khandakar for the first is going to pair up with actor Afzal Hossain for a film titled ‘Aparajay’. They will play the role of husband and wife in the film. The story of the film has been adapted from the book titled ‘Eka’ by Faridur Reza Sagar. Syed Salahuddin Zaki has directed the film.
Regarding the film, Deepa said “Previously, I have worked on dramas, telefilms, and television advertisements under the supervision of Afzal bhai. It was a matter of great joy and pride for me as an actress. But working with him as a co-star in a film is a great achievement for me because an opportunity like this does not come very often. I’m thankful to Salahuddin Zaki sir for giving me a chance to work on this project. As Afzal Bhai is unique as a producer, similarly, as a co-star, he is very cooperative. Working alongside Afzal Bhai in this film, motivated me in my work”.
Deepa Khandakar received a saree from ‘Shaateebd’ as a gift on Valentine’s Day, regarding the gift the actress said on her Facebook, “I liked the saree from Shaatee very much and their work with disadvantaged women is undoubtedly commendable. It is a noble initiative of Shaateebd. Moreover, Shatee is conducting to increase the skills of women as well as to create employment opportunities for them. Currently, more than 70 women are earning their livelihood through Shatee. I believe this initiative is changing and will change the lives of many women”.
Deepa Khandakar debuted in acting in the television drama titled ‘Kaktarua’. She debuted on the silver screen through ‘Bhaijaan Elo Re’ in 2018. Her popular tel-dramas include ‘Meghe Dhaka Manus’, ‘Ebong Ami’, ‘Andhakare Phul’, ‘Ghar Sangsar’, ‘Mohua’, ‘Swapnabhog’, ‘Society’, ‘Sakkhi Kutum’, among many others. Deepa has done television commercials for companies including Swan Foam, Aarong, Lipton Tazaa Tea, Starship, Cute Powder, Tibet, and Tibet Coconut Oil.
