Popular singer Fahmida Nabi has released a love song titled ‘Shohor Chhere’ during celebrations of Valentine’s Day. The song is penned by Sultana Nurjahan Rosy and composed by Sajib Das.
The song is available on YouTube channel Rosy’s Musical Journey. The song has been well received by the audience said the singer.
Regarding the song, Fahmida Nabi said, “The song ‘Shohor Chhere’ has a nostalgic vibe to it. I liked both the music and lyrics of the song. A person can relate to the feeling of leaving the city life to olden days in this song. It’s not like I like the song because it is voiced by me, it will really take a listener into a world of thoughts after they listen to the lyrics and the music.”

On 2020, for International Mother Language Day, Fahmida Nabi’s released the song tilted ‘Ekush Amar’. The song was penned by Golam Murshed while Sajib Das provided the tune and music.
Fahmida Nabi was born in Dinajpur in 1966. She is the daughter of the late singer Mahmudun Nabi and the elder sister of singer Samina Chowdhury.
She started her career in 1979. Her first album was Tumi Tulonahina. Fahmida Nabi won the National Film Award as the Best Female Playback Singer in 2007 for her song ‘Lukochuri Lukochuri Golpo’ in the film ‘Aha’.
