Upstage to stage ‘Swapnabhuk’ today

Theatre troupe Upstage will stage its second production, ‘Swapnabhuk’ today at 7:15 pm at the Studio Theatre Hall of Bangladesh Shilpakala Academy (BSA), Segun Bagicha in the capital.

The play is based on Syed Shamsul Haque’s novel Janak o Kalo-coffee which was published in 1963. It has been adapted and directed by Saif Suman.

The main focus of the play ‘Swapnbhuk’ is dreams. The story of the play revolves around the story of a poet and his shadow, portraying how reality snatches away peoplea’s dreams and how new dreams are created.
