A four-day long event focused on the Liberation War of Bangladesh will be taking place at Bengal Shilpalay, Dhanmondi in the capital. The event will feature documentary screenings, musical performances, poetry, and panel discussions based on the Liberation war.
Freedom fighter Shah Sayed Kamal will deliver the opening speech on March 3, while freedom fighter and Director General of the Gyantapas Abdur Razzaq Foundation Dr. Ahrar Ahmad will give the welcome speech at the opening ceremony of the event.
Commodore Abdul Wahed Chowdhury, Major Abdul Qayyum Khan, Dr. Kaiser Hamidul Haq, Syeda Kamal, and others will be taking part in the discussion session on the first day. After that, the documentary screening will take place.
On the second day of the event, along with the documentary screening, Naila Zaman, Sharmin Murshid, Dalia Nowshin, Debu Chaudhuri, Shaheen Samad, Enamul Haque, Miliya Ali will sing for the audience.
The third-day event will start with a documentary screening. Later, Tropa Majumdar, Shimul Mustafa, and some others will recite poetry based on Liberation War.
Politician Mujahidul Selim, cultural personality Nasiruddin Yousuff, human rights activist Khushi Kabir, writer Asif Nazrul and researcher Salek Khokon will take part in the discussion event which is scheduled to take place on the last day of the event.
The event has been organised by the Gyantapas Abdur Razzaq Foundation.
