I lost weight for Surongo: Nisho

“In my 23 years of career, I am going to act in a film for the first time. I always wanted to work on the big screen. From the beginning, I wanted to work on a simple story. ‘Surongo’ is such a story. I feel challenges for every new job. Since it is a film, it must have an extra affordability”, actor Arfan Nisho said at the Muharat programme for his new film ‘Surongo’.

“I am trying to enter the film industry at an old age. I had to lose weight at this age. I have reduced my weight from 91 kg to 78 kg for the sake of the film. I want everyone’s prayers and support. I will be able to give you a better experience after completing the shooting. I hope, with everyone’s cooperation, I will be able to give something good”, he added.

Shuvo Muharat of the film was held on February 28 at a five-star hotel in Dhaka. Anchored by Moushumi Mou, three video images were shown at the event. The programme was also attended by director Raihan Rafi, actress Toma Mirza, Mostafa Monwar, Shihab Shaheen, Shahnaz Khusi, Brindabon Das, producer Redwan Rony, and Shahriar Shakil.

Directed by Raihan Rafi, Nisho will be seen opposite National Award-winning actress Toma Mirza. The shooting will start on March 5 in Sylhet. The work will be completed through continuous shooting. And it will be released on this year’s Eid-ul-Azha.

Nisho also said, “This is my first work with Toma, first with Rafi too. Although I have worked with Chorki and Alpha-i before, this is the first time I am working with everyone on the big screen. Since all of us are hardworking and dedicated, I hope it will be good work.”

Regarding the film Actress Toma Mirza said, “This is my first work with Nisho Bhai. I am a big fan of this man, so I have nothing to talk about him. I got the opportunity to work with him. Hopefully, we will be able to present a beautiful work with love.”

Director Raihan Rafi said, “I love the story of this film. I have been working on the story for a long time. This time everything came together beautifully. I got everything I want. If I get the love of the audience then my wretchedness will be successful.”
