Curtain falls on third Bangladesh Film Festival

The curtain on the third Bangladesh Film Festival falls on Friday at the Bangladesh Shilpakala Academy (BSA), Segun Bagicha in the capital. The 15-day film festival took place at all 64 Shilpakala Academy branches across the country.

State Minister for Cultural Affairs KM Khalid was present at the event as the chief guest while Director General of BSA Liaquat Ali Lucky presided over it.

Syed Salahuddin Zaki and Masihuddin Shaker were present at the event as special guests.

Started on February 17, the festival featured 36 films. Started on February 17, the festival featured 36 films, which had screenings at all the branches of the Bangladesh Shilpakala Academy in 64 districts. Along with the film screenings, the festival featured master classes and open discussions that focused on films. A film appreciation course was also held in 10 divisions as a part of this festival.
