‘China-Bangladesh Culture & Art Night’ held at BSA

The ‘China-Bangladesh Culture & Art Night’ took place at the National Theater Auditorium of Bangladesh Shilpakala Academy (BSA) on Sunday.

Ambassador of China to Bangladesh Yao Wen, Secretary of the Ministry of Cultural Affairs of Bangladesh Md Abul Monsur, Secretary (West) of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Bangladesh Shabbir Ahmad Chowdhury, and Liaquat Ali Lucky, Director General of BSA, were present at the event. Apart from them, in total, 500 people were in attendance at the event for a night of festivities.

“Bangladesh and China have had strong friendships for a long time. The relationship is developing day by day through cultural exchanges. As an ambassador of China to Bangladesh, I am proud to be a part of the development partnership with Bangladesh,” said Yao Wen at the event.

Artists from the Kunming National Song and Dance Theatre gave outstanding performances of music and dance that showcased the stunning scenery and traditional lifestyles of ethnic groups in China’s Yunnan Province. Similarly, performers from the BSA presented diverse manifestations of the nation’s performance art.
