March all set to amaze movie lovers

Last month saw the release of highly anticipated movies like Magic Mike’s Last Dance, Winnie-the-Pooh: Blood and Honey, Marvel’s Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania, and the dark comedy thriller Cocaine Bea. Now March is all set to amaze movie lovers with the arrival of some of 2023’s biggest and most anticipated releases. Here are some movies coming to theaters in March 2023.

Scream VI

It is an upcoming American slasher film releasing on March 10. It will be the sixth installment in the Scream film series and serve as a direct sequel to Scream (2022). The film stars Melissa Barrera, Jasmin Savoy Brown, Mason Gooding, Jenna Ortega, Hayden Panettiere, and Courteney Cox, all reprising their roles from previous installments, alongside Jack Champion, Henry Czerny, Liana Liberato, Dermot Mulroney, Devyn Nekoda, Tony Revolori, Josh Segarra, and Samara Weaving. directed by Matt Bettinelli-Olpin and Tyler Gillett, and written by James Vanderbilt and Guy Busick, with original franchise writer and creator Kevin Williamson returning as executive producer.

Shazam! Fury of the Gods

The film is an upcoming American superhero film based on the DC Comics character Shazam. It will be hitting the threatres on March 17. directed by David F. Sandberg and written by Henry Gayden and Chris Morgan, and stars Zachary Levi, Asher Angel, Jack Dylan Grazer, Rachel Zegler, Adam Brody, Ross Butler, Meagan Good, Lucy Liu, Djimon Hounsou, and Helen Mirren. In the film, Billy Batson / Shazam and his foster siblings fight the Daughters of Atlas.

Moving On

Moving On is a comedy movie directed by Paul Weitz and is set to release on March 17. It follows Claire (Jane Fonda) and Evelyn (Lily Tomlin), two long-time friends who reconnect at a funeral. There, they decide to take revenge on the widower (Malcolm McDowell), who wronged them many years ago. The film also stars Richard Roundtree and Catherine Dent. Moving On premiered at the 2022 Toronto International Film Festival, and it’s now ready to be released in cinemas.

John Wick: Chapter 4

The new installment is releasing on March 24. In this one, John Wick uncovers a path to defeating the High Table. But before he can earn his freedom, Wick must face off against a new enemy with powerful alliances across the globe and forces that turn old friends into foes. The film is directed by Chad Stahelski and written by Shay Hatten and Michael Finch. It stars Keanu Reeves as the title character, alongside Donnie Yen, Bill Skarsgård, Laurence Fishburne, Hiroyuki Sanada, Shamier Anderson, Lance Reddick, Rina Sawayama, Scott Adkins, Clancy Brown, Natalia Tena, Marko Zaror, and Ian McShane.

Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves

Releasing on March 31, the famous tabletop role-playing game Dungeons & Dragons has made the jump to the big screen in ‘Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves’, directed by Jonathan Goldstein and John Francis Daley. It follows Edgin the Bard (Chris Pine), a charming thief who along with a band of unlikely adventurers goes on an epic quest to retrieve a lost relic, but it all takes a turn when they clash with the wrong people. Also starring in Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves are Michelle Rodriguez, Regé-Jean Paget, Justice Smith, Sophia Lillis, Hugh Grant, Daisy Head, Chloe Coleman, and Jason Wong.
