Actress Sabila Nur is all set to make her debut on the web series ‘Marcules’. Abu Shahed Emon is directing the web series.
Based on a true event, the web series gave the actress a unique experience. Sabila Nur will be seen playing the role of a girl named Joyita. The series deals with how a girl controls her life after a new incident.
“Actually, when we work on TV series, we don’t usually get a chance to work with such a big team. This work experience will stay with me for life. The work experience with the co-stars of this series was indeed a great one. Shahed is an amazing director. His work process is very cool and unique. Apart from that, everything, including makeup, and costumes, was great,” said Sabila Nur.
The episodes will also star Zakia Bari Mamo, Fazlur Rahman Babu, Rawnak Hasan, Iresh Zaker, and others. The series will also have ‘Monpura’ famed director Giasuddin Selim in a special role.
Along with Sabila Nur, the series also marks the first web series of director Abu Shahed Emon. “The overall experience is excellent. This story style, compared to other series, is unique. Many have acted in this series. With the help of everyone, this whole project was possible for me to execute properly,” said Emon.
“Basically, it is the story of a girl whose boyfriend was killed by someone. Although it is a thriller-based series, there are many social incidents in this series, which will be interesting to watch. It is made in such a way that even every audience can enjoy it,” he added.
The series will be released on the OTT platform Chorki.
Sabila Nur has earned much popularity through her acting on the small screen. She became popular as ‘The Imaginary Girl’ in the romantic comedy telefilm Monkey Bizness in 2015.
She is well known for her bright appearance in Bengali TV dramas and many advertisement films. She made her debut in acting with the telefilm ‘U-Turn’ in 2014. She also did a documentary European University of Bangladesh Documentary (2016). Now she is the brand ambassador of ‘Glow & Lovely’.
