Liza releases new song in tribute to Bangabandhu

Paying tribute to the Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman on his 103rd birthday, popular singer of present generation Sania Sultana Liza has released a new song ‘Tumi Je Aamar Swadhinata’ on her YouTube channel.

Nurul Islam Manik wrote lyrics of the song, while mentor of Liza, Anwar Hossain Anu has composed its music. Sumon Kalyan has arranged music of the song. Raj Biswas Shankar has made music video of the song.

Regarding the song singer Liza said, “Earlier the song titled ‘Bangla Bhasha’ written by Nurul Islam Manik and composed by my Ustadji Anwar Hossain Anu Sir was released. During childhood, among patriotic songs, I used to sing respected Runa Laila’s song titled ‘Aamar Mon Pakhita Jaire Ure’ most of the time. During my stage shows, even in television channel’s programme I have rendered the song ‘Bangla Bhasha’ among the patriotic songs. The song ‘Tumi Je Aamar Swadhinata’ is basically written about the Father of our Nation, Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman and rendered the song paying tribute to him. An attempt has been made to show utmost respect and love for the song. Songs about Bangabandhu, patriotic and other songs those will be released are all done by my own initiative. The songs are released on my YouTube channel and will continue to be released in the future. Only the talk of the audience, keeping in mind, I am releasing these original songs on my own initiative. If I get their love, if I get a response from them, my pain will be worthwhile.”

Liza performed music at a stage show in Dhamrai on Friday. Today she will perform music at the capital’s Uttara area and on March 20, she will also perform in another stage show at Chattogram Police Line, said the singer.

On the other hand, Sania Sultana Liza released a new song ‘Bhalobasha Noy Se Ki’ on her own YouTube channel ‘Liza’ on the verge of the New Year 2023. Written by Lalon Lohani, the song has been composed by Nazir Mahmood and tuned by Musfiq Litu. The music video for the song was directed by Raj Biswas Sankor.
