The film is produced by SR Prakash Babu and SR Prabhu. The movie, first Rashmika’s Tamil film, is about both religious & social values that are very close to their heart: that good always wins over evil.
Bongo brings the film “Sulthan” with Bangla dub for all south film lovers, which was released on Thursday.
It’s the story of the son of an underworld don, Vikram, aka Sulthan (played by Karthi), who, despite being the son of the ganglord & godson of his hand, works as a Robotics Engineer. He has zero involvement with crimes. For a village celebration, he has to return home. When he meets his father, he learns about her mother’s last wish that his father, including all the accomplices, have a reformed crime-free life. But unknown to him, his godfather already takes an assignment from her love interest Rukmini’s (played by Rashmika) village Amaravathi.
Bongo produces four original Bangla songs written by famous lyricist Sudip Kumar Dip. Bongo fans can also enjoy this family entertainment drama with twisted blast Sulthan, in Bangla Dub, on the country’s leading OTT platform, ‘Bongo’.
The film starring Karthil & Rashmika Mandanna, was released on 2 April 2021. It received critical acclaim from the audience and became a commercial success.
Besides the dramatic thrill, the movie also offers obligatory romance. The Heroine is Rahmika, who plays the character of Rukmini, a village girl with whom Sulthan is smitten. The musical duo Vivek-Mervin first composed the music, but the director needed more convincing. So, he rehired music composer Yuvan Shankar Raja to hit the background score.
