Group exhibition ‘CLASSIC 10’ at Galleri Kaya

A fifteen-day group art exhibition by 10 eminent modern & contemporary artists of Bangladesh titled “CLASSIC 10” is underway at Galleri Kaya, Uttara in the capital.

The inaugural ceremony of the exhibition was held on March 18 on the gallery premises.

Respectively the artists are S.M Sultan (1923-1994), Murtaja Baseer (1932-2020), Samarjit Roy Choudhury (1937-2022, Hashem Khan (1941), Rafiqun Nabi (1943), Hamiduzzaman Khan (1946), Shahabuddin Ahmed (1950), Chandra Shekhar Dey (1951), Mohammad Eunus (1954) and Ranjit Das (1956).

The body of works done between the period from 1956 to 2023. A selection of 37 works in oil, acrylic, watercolor, pen & ink, lithograph, linocut and mixed media on canvas and paper are being showcased in this exhibition.

The show will remain open to all every day from 11: 30 am to 7:30 pm, till April 2. The exhibition is sponsored by ADN Group.
