Shakib, Bubly starrer ‘Leader: Ami Bangladesh’ coming this Eid

Amid all the controversies, Dhallywood superstar Shakib Khan and Bubly starrer ‘Leader: Ami Bangladesh’ is set to be released on the occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr.

Written by Delwar Hossain Dil, ‘Leader: Ami Bangladesh’ marks Topu Khan’s first venture as a director.

Regarding the film, director Tapu Khan said, “This is my directorial debut film. I have tried to fulfill the responsibility of making the film properly. Everyone on the team including Shakib Khan and Bubly supported me wholeheartedly. The film revolves around how a leader fights against the odds in his society and finds a solution. The audience is going to get a wonderful film ‘Leader: Ami Bangladesh’ this Eid.”

The shooting of the film started on May 25, 2021. The shoot was then postponed on September 26 of the same year. The entire production of the film was completed in three and a half months except for one song’s video which was later completed in October 2022.

Although the release of the film was delayed several times, it’s now ready to be released. The film received uncut clearance at the end of December from the Censor Board.

Produced by Syed Ashik Rahman the film is releasing under the banner of Bengal Multimedia Ltd.

Syed Ashik Rahman said, “We took time to give the audience a complete and quality film. After confirming all the preparations, now we want to tell the audience that the film ‘Leader: Ami Bangladesh’ is going to be released simultaneously in international theatres including Bangladesh on Eid-ul-Fitr.”
