Ovi Moinuddin receives best lyricist award

For his praiseworthy contribution to the country’s entertainment journalism, eminent entertainment journalist Mohammad Ovi Moinuddin has been awarded several times, but this time around, he has been awarded as the best lyricist. Ovi Moinuddin was awarded as the best lyricist in the TRUB Music Award 2023 held at Dhaka Club located in Shahbagh on Wednesday.

He has been awarded for the song ‘Jedin Chole Jete Cheyechhile Tumi’, which was sung by singer Rumana Islam. Written and composed by Ovi Moinuddin the song was released in June 2022. The music arrangement of the song was done by Yusuf Ahmed Khan. On December 23 last year, Rumana Islam was honored with the ‘BCRA’ award as the best singer for the same song.
