Dilara, Ferdousi, Dolly shares the same screen for the first time

Senior actress Dilara Zaman, Ferdousi Mazumder, and Dolly Johur will be seen together for the first time in an Eid special series titled ‘Chand Hase Alo Ase’. Afsana Mimi, Sadia Islam Mou and Tahmina Sultana Mou will join the three living legends.

This is the first time these six are working together on the same project. Faria Hossain wrote the series, and Arif Khan directed it.

“I’ve worked with Faria Hossain before. I know Arif also tries to put his best effort into every project. I personally liked the story of the TV series. I’ve been on the shooting floor for just a day; thus, I couldn’t have the chance to work with Dolly Johur and Ferdousi Mazumder. Although I got word that the shooting is really going well. I think this is going to be a notable project for this Eid,” said Dilara Zaman.

In the series, Dolly Johur will be seen playing the role of the mother-in-law of Afsana Mimi, while Ferdousi Mazumder played the role of her mother-in-law. “The story is unique in my opinion. Arif always tries to add something new to the cast. This series won’t be any different. It gave me a great joy to share the floor with Mimi and Ferdousi Mazumder after so long. When we had a break from shooting, we would all take a walk down memory lane. I hope the audience will like the series,” said Dolly Johur.

Although Ferdousi Mozumder is not a regular face on the small screen nowadays, she showed interest in acting as the actress liked the script a lot.

Dolly Johur received lifetime honours at the National Film Awards 2021 for her significant contributions to the country’s film industry.

Meanwhile, Dilara Zaman’s new telefilm titled ‘Ma Babar Poriniti’ directed by Habib Litu, is in the pipeline to release. The actress was last seen in the government-granted short film ‘Omar Faruk-er Ma’ which premiered at the Bangladesh Film Archive on December 3, 2022. Along with Dilara Zaman, the short film also casts, Khairul Alam Sabuj, Naznin Chumki, Shahed Sharif Khan, Kazi Razu, Sayeed Babu, and others.
