Director Pradeep Sarkar passes away

Filmmaker Pradeep Sarkar is no more. He was 68 at the time of death.

According to the times of India the director breathed his last at 3.30 am on March 24. He was on dialysis, and his potassium levels had dropped drastically. He passed away in a hospital, where he was rushed after his condition deteriorated at 2:30 am.

Actress Neetu Chandra confirmed Sarkar’s demise. Sarkar had directed ‘Parineeta’, ‘Laga Chunari Mein Daag’, ‘Mardaani’ and ‘Helicopter Eela’.
