Uttarsury hosting a discussion event of women

A discussion session titled ‘Bangla Bhasha: Nari Jobaner Vinnota O Boisisthota’ is taking place today at Uttarsury. The centre organised the event on its premises at Dhanmondi.

The programme is scheduled to start at 3 p.m.

The professor of English at BRAC University Firdous Azim, Sonia Nishat Amin professor of Dhaka University, and writer-researcher Morshed Shafiul Hasan will take part in the discussion season. The event will be chaired by Perween Hasan, the Vice-Chancellor of Central Women’s University. Chief executive officer of Uttarsury of the Center, Sharmeen Murshid will be presenting the event.

The goal of this discussion will be to identify women’s own voices in literature and clarify their social context.
