Mithun to act in Bangladeshi film after a decade

Celebrated Indian actor Mithun Chakraborty will act in a Bangladeshi film after a decade. The noted artiste will be seen acting in a film titled ‘Hero’ directed by Kamruzzaman Roman.

Directed by Kamruzzaman Roman, the screenplay of the film has been written by Abdullah Zahir Babu. Both Kamruzzaman Roman and Abdullah Zahir Babu visited the actor in Kolkata recently and got the chance to sit with the star and discuss the film in detail.

Abdullah Zahir Babu shared the news on his Facebook page on Sunday and wrote, “Today is a special day for me. The renowned Indian actor, Mithun Chakraborty has read my script and replied ‘Brilliant, nice, I will act in this film.”

Kamruzzaman Roman said that they will officially sign Mithun Chakraborty for the film before the upcoming Eid-ul-Fitr festival. The story of the film is about a father and daughter. Mithun Charkraborty will portray the role of father. The other cast of the film yet to be selected.

Earlier, Mithun Charkraborty-starrer first Bangladeshi film ‘Abichar’ was released in 1985. The actor’s last Bangladeshi film was ‘Golapi Ekhon Bilet’, which was released in 2010.
