Popular actor Ziaul Faruq Apurba and Tareen Jahan will be seen together after a long time in the upcoming Eid-ul-Fitr drama titled ‘Priyo Paribar’.
Written by Mezbah Uddin Sumon, the drama has been directed by Rubel Hasan. Director Rubel Hasan said that Apurba and Tareen will be seen in the role of husband and wife. Some artists will be seen as their children. The shooting of the play began on April 2 in Uttara, Dhaka.
Tareen Jahan expressed her excitement about working with Apurba after a long time and said that she is glad to be a part of such a family drama story. Speaking about the experience of working on the project, Tareen Jahan said, “Through this drama, I and Apurba are playing old age characters together for the first time. This is the first time I am working with Rubel. He is doing this work with great care. Those who are acting as our children in one day’s shooting felt like they belong to our family.”
“Everyone is trying to get into their character, especially Apurba, who is trying to present himself properly in this versatile role. Each of us is trying to play the story, keeping each character in ourselves. I hope the audience will like it”, she added.
Apurba also shared his thoughts about working with Tareen again, saying, “I am working with Tareen after more than half a century. Tareen being around us or working with us means a lot to me and to all of us who work in the drama. Because being with her means we learn something new every time. I have learned a lot from her since the beginning of my acting career. Rubel is making this drama with lots of care. We are all very optimistic about the drama because the story is simply amazing.”
According to Rubel Hasan, the drama will be aired on the YouTube channel ‘Club Entertainment’ in the upcoming Eid. He praised the story and expressed optimism about the drama’s success.
The play also casts Shahed Ali, Syed Zaman Shaon, Makhnoon Sultana Mahima, and Rukaiya Jahan Chamak, among others.
