Oishee, Yash starrer ‘Adam’ to be released this Eid

Miss World Bangladesh Jannatul Ferdous Oishee and ‘Swapnajaal’ famed actor Yash Rohan starrer film ‘Adam’ is supposed to be released this Eid. Directed by Abu Tauhid Heron, the trailer of the film was released on April 2.

Through the trailer, it is seen that Chameli (played by Oishee) gets pregnant by an unknown man before marriage. As this is considered a sin in the village, the leaders of the religious groups gather together and discuss what to do with Chameli. Yash Rohan can also be seen romancing Chameli in the trailer. However, it seems their affair doesn’t go as planned in the end. In the trailer, Allen Shubhro can be seen as the titular character, Adam.

Regarding the film, Adam said, “The film ‘Adam’ is my dream project. The release of the film has been delayed due to various reasons. Now, I am all set to release the film. So I want to release the film in the upcoming Eid.”

The story of the film ‘Adam’ is based on the harsh reality of rural life. It is set in the backdrop of the eighties and revolves around rural life, complexities, and philosophies. It is about a tribe that has no outside enemies, their only adversaries arise from fellow people of their tribe. Some of them are selfless as they sacrifice everything for another, while some are extremely selfish.

The shooting has been completed in multiple locations, including Mymensingh, Kuakata, Jamalpur, and Sundarbans amongst others. The film also casts Rangan Riddo, Allen Shubhro, Shahiduzzaman Selim, Monira Akter Mithu, and Raisul Islam Asad amongst others.
