After an intense competition spanning almost seven months, the winner of Indian Idol 13 has been revealed as Rishi Singh. The winner’s trophy will be bestowed upon him. Meanwhile, Debosmita Roy secured the position of the first-runner up.
After facing stiff competition, Rishi Singh, who is from Ayodhya, claimed the winner’s trophy and was awarded a prize money of Rs 25 lakh along with a car.
In the singing reality show, the top contestants included Chirag Kotwal from Jammu and Kashmir, Bidipta Chakraborty, Sonakshi Kar and Debosmita Roy from Kolkata, and Shivam Singh from Vadodara.
As a winner of the show, Rishi Singh received a cheque of Rs 25 lakh from Sony Entertainment Television and a brand new Brezza from Maruti Suzuki India Ltd.
The first and second runners-up, Debosmita Roy and Chirag Kotwal, received a trophy and a cheque of Rs 5 lakh each. The contestants, who bagged the third and fourth positions, Bidipta Chakraborty and Shivam Singh, were awarded prize money of Rs 3 lakh each. Additionally, all six finalists were awarded a cheque of Rs. 1 lakh and gift hampers.
