“Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse,” the upcoming sequel to the popular animated film “Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse,” is set to hit theatres on June 2 and the makers have created much hype by releasing a new trailer on Tuesday.
This time, however, there was a Bangla dubbed version and it created a massive buzz among the Bengali-speaking people in Bangladesh, India and other parts of the world. The fans took to the internet and expressed their excitement on various social media platforms.
The film will be released in 10 different languages, including English, Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Punjabi, Gujarati, Marathi, Bangla, Kannada and Malayalam.
Produced by Columbia Pictures and Sony Pictures Animation in association with Marvel Entertainment, the new instalment of the Oscar-winning franchise is jointly directed by Joaquim Dos Santos, Kemp Powers and Justin K Thompson, from a screenplay by Phil Lord, Christopher Miller, and David Callaham.
According to the official plot synopsis, “Miles Morales returns for the next chapter of the Oscar-winning Spider-Verse saga, ‘Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse.’ After reuniting with Gwen Stacy, Brooklyn’s full-time, friendly neighbourhood Spider-Man is catapulted across the Multiverse, where he encounters a team of Spider-People charged with protecting its very existence. But when the heroes clash on how to handle a new threat, Miles finds himself pitted against the other Spiders and must redefine what it means to be a hero so he can save the people he loves most.”
The latest action-packed trailer promises a thrilling ride for fans of the superhero genre.
The major cast includes Shameik Moore as Miles, Hailee Steinfeld as Gwen/Ghost-Spider, Jake Johnson as Peter B Parker, and Oscar Isaac as Miguel O’Hara/Spider-Man 2099.
The cast also includes Issa Rae, Daniel Kaluuya, Karan Soni, Jason Schwartzman, Brian Tyree Henry, Luna Lauren Velez, Greta Lee, Rachel Dratch, Jorma Taccone, and Shea Whigham.
With the upcoming release of “Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse,” fans can expect to enjoy a unique and exciting adventure that they will not soon forget.
To add to the excitement, the next film of the franchise, titled “Spider-Man: Beyond the Spider-Verse,” is also set to release next year.
