Kona set to release five songs in Eid

National Film Award-winning singer Dilshad Nahar Kona is all set to release five of her songs in the upcoming Eid-ul-Fitr. Among these, two songs from the movies ‘Jinn’ and ‘Paap’ will be released around Eid. Both songs are written by Abdul Aziz and composed by Eman Saha.

There are also three modern duet songs, which will be released on three different YouTube channels. Among these, Kona has a duet song with Punom. Lyrics written by Jamal Hossain, Punom has tuned and composed the song. Lyrics written by Someswor Ali, Kona lends her voice for another duet song with Tausif. Akash Mahmud composed the song. Kona is going to release another duet song which is written, composed, and sung by Asif Altaf. The music videos for these three modern songs have been made by Saikat Reza. The making of these music videos will be completed soon.

Kona informed that she is being accompanied by Imran Mahmudul for the two playback songs from the film ‘Jinn’ and ‘Paap’.

Regarding her five songs, Kona said, “The songs of movies ‘Jinn’ and ‘Paap’ are different genres. The audience will find a different kind of love in these two songs. I just want to say that, if anybody likes both the songs of the movie, then they will appreciate it. And I like the lyrics and melody of the three modern songs very much. Just as every lyricist has written brilliantly, every composer has composed heartily. I tried to sing as well as possible. I hope the audience will like all three songs.”

Kona won her first National Film Award for singing in the movie ‘Bishwosundori’ directed by Chayanika Chowdhury, which lyrics of the song were written by Kabir Bakul, and the music was composed by Imran.

Meanwhile, a few days ago, for the first time, Kona and Imran went to London to perform in a stage show. There, the two were impressed by the love of the audience.
