Two films of Siam to have world TV premier

Popular actor Siam Ahmed starrer two films ‘Shaan’ and ‘Adventures of Sundarbans’ will be having world TV premier on the occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr. Both the film will air on Satellite television channel Deepto TV.

The Siam Ahmed and Puja Chery starrer ‘Shaan’ will be aired on the Eid day at 1:00 pm while ‘Adventures of Sundarbans’ will be aired at 1:00 pm on the second day of Eid.

The film ‘Shaan’ is an action-thriller drama. The story of the film revolves around human trafficking.

The script and the dialogues of ‘Shaan’ are co-written by Azad Khan and Nazim Ud Daula. The film is produced by Wahidur Rahman and M Atiqur Rahman under the banner of Filman Productions. The film released in the country on May 3 on the occasion of Eid.

Along with Siam and Puja, ‘Shaan’ also features Champa, Aruna Biswas, Syed Hasan Imam and Misha Sawdagar, among others. With this movie, Champa and Aruna are collaborating after long 22 years.

Meanwhile, Siam Ahmed and Pori Moni starrer film ‘Adventures of Sundarbans’ is a joint production of Bongobd with government funding.

Directed by Abu Raihan Jewel, the film has been made based on Dr Muhammad Zafar Iqbal’s children’s novel ‘Ratuler Raat, Ratuler Din’. Muhammad Zafar Iqbal has also written a song titled ‘’Aay Aay Shob Taratari’ for the government granted film.

Apart from Siam and Pori Moni the film also features Shahidul Alam Sachchu, Azad Abul Kalam, Monira Mithu, Kochi Khandakar, and Ashish Khandakar, among others.

The film was shot at several spots in Dhaka, Mongla port, Sundarbans, and panoramic places on rivers across Chandpur and Barishal. Sumon Sarkar was the videographer while Samurai Maruf was the art director of the film.

The screenplay of the film, co-produced by Bongo BD, was written by Jakaria Showkhin.
