After a long hiatus, three times National Film Award-winning singer, Monir Khan is going to release a new music album in video format titled ‘Ki Badhone Bedhecho Amay’.
The songs have been written by Liton Shikdar, composed by Milton Khondokar and Debu Ray. Moreover, the songs have been arranged by Rocket Mondal from Kolkata. The new album containing 10 new songs will be released on Monir Khan’s own YouTube channel, MK Music24 on the occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr.
An event was organised in Dhaka on Monday to mark the release of 10 songs. Singers Khurshid Alam, Robi Chowdhury, Mamun, Nasir, lyricist Shahidullah Faraji, Liton Adhikari Rintu, actor and producer Saju Muntasir, and many others attended the event to wish Monir Khan.
Speaking about the experience, Monir Khan said, “The new songs have my original essence and I enjoyed recording them. After a long time, I did so many songs together. Music videos have also been made for the songs. The video has been made following the lyrics of the song. I hope the audience will listen to the songs and share their likes and dislikes.”
Lyricist Liton Shikder said, “Monir Khan is a popular singer in the country. He sings modern songs. After a long time, he is returning to music. I am glad to be his companion on this journey. Hope the videos of these 10 songs will be enjoyable for everyone.”
Lyricist and composer Milton Khandkar said, “Monir Khan and I have been together for a long time. Earlier, his album was released with a lot of arrangements. However, Monir Khan’s fans are getting 10 songs together this Eid. I am happy to be part of this event. I invite everyone to listen to the songs.”
Monir Khan started his musical journey in 1996 with the album, “Tomar Kono Dosh Nei”. His songs have reached every listening platform, from urban to rural. In his career, he has released 42 solo albums and more than 300 duet and mixed albums. He has won Bangladesh National Film Awards three times as the Best Male Playback Singer for his performance in the films ‘Premer Taj Mahal’ (2001), ‘Laal Doriya’ (2002), and ‘Dui Noyoner Alo’ (2005).
