The Bangladesh Shilpakala Academy organised an Alpana art camp on the intangible cultural heritage of Bangladesh to celebrate Pahela Baishakh 1430.
The event kicked off at 10:00 pm on April 12 at the Jatiya Chitrashala Plaza of Bangladesh Shilpakala Academy.
The art camp is being organised under the initiative of Shilpakala Academy and is managed by the Faculty of Fine Arts of Dhaka University.
The idea and design of the event were done by Shilpakala Academy Director General Liaquat Ali Lucky. The event was attended by distinguished artists, including Hashem Khan, Biren Shome, Farida Zaman, and Mohammed Eunus.
The programme was coordinated by artist Nasim Ahmed Nadvi.
As part of the event, an exhibition of artworks created through art camp and Alpana art will also be organised.
